A leading Pharmaceutical Company

Challenge: Like many Corporates nationwide, this Pharma Company shared common problem:

  • An aging infrastructure of printers, copiers were not keeping up with the increasing demands placed on them by directors, staff & general manager.
  • Additionally the wasted down time in maintainence and repair was taking its toll on the overall efficiency of daily operations.


The Job of bringing  company into 21st century fell to Kevini Enterprise. This was no simple task, we had to be very mindful of purchasing procedures in a  Corporate  Organisation, while securing the best technology and service reliability equipment-buying decesions that would likely being place for many years to  come.


Of particular interest to us  was finding ways to cut down on wasted paper, which was a significant issue considering the size of the University and combined daily use of copier.


Also, confidential and proprietary documents sent to printers were sometimes forgotten and left on printer for any passerby to read. This presented a potential breach of security and trust in the process of sending sensitive documents to the intended recipient.


Solution: As our Sales team noted, "we had been exploring multifunction printers (MFPs) for some time, but the array of products and their capabilities needed  a more thorough approach as to which would best meet the Company's needs." As a Corporate Organisation, a Request for Proposal (RFP) was issued to multiple print and imaging companies. Kevini was invited to bid and took this process to a much higher level than just submitting a written proposal.

  • First, Kevini representatives gave an extensive demonstrations of the range of printers, including Konica Minolta Bizhub C227, Bizhub C226, Bizhub 206, Bizhub 367 models, which met, if not exceeded, the requirements stipulated in RFP.  Customer was impressed, but Kevini again took it further.
  • Customer was referred to other nearby Multi National Company that had these units currently in operation, so that they could visit with their technology counterparts to gain their first-hand assessment. Well, the feedback Company received must have been extremely positive, as Kevini won the business.
  • Pharma Company added PaperCut Licensed Software to cut down on paper waste and manage and tract print.
  • Faz2Mail Software was institued for securely sending confidential employees information.
  • The Google Drive app made it easy for teachers and administrators to upload and share documents conviniently from the panel of the MFP.


Next Steps: As the Konica  Minolta Bizhubs have been in place for only a few months, Client will continues to  assess the ROI on this investment over the  coming year. But it's clear to all users thus far that Kevini delievered on the promise.


Going forward, we will continue to work with Company's other departments in meeting their unique needs, as the company continues to be at the vanguard of new printer technologies.

A Public Sector Unit (PSU)

Challenge: Office needed to improve scanning workflow and reduce the amount of time  it took  users to scan RTI case  file, Project completion file, Employee file into their existing  document management system.


Solution: Kevini recommended  automating the indexing  of documents  in order to increase the accuracy of  information and get scans to the right place on the first try.   By implementing the NSi Autostore workflow  we created a simple touch button to reduce error and reduce the amount of time users stand at the MFP scanning . In the past, indexing of the document at MFP required direct input for all information. With NSi Autostore, the drop down document types and naming conventions that were used drastically reduced time spent at the MFP.  Kevini also implemented its optimized print services (OPS) for replenishing supplies and providing auto meter reporting. 


ROI:  The office was able to save over few thousand rupees per year and increase employee productivity significantly by instituting NSi Autostore,  as well as  optimized print services (OPS) for replenishing supplies and meter reporting.
